About Us   My name is Russ Hinz.  I’ve been in the landscaping business locally for over 30 years. I was born and raised in Fairmont, MN. After graduation, I served in the Navy for three years, then attended Anoka Vo-tech to study horticulture. Following graduation, I went to business school at Rosemount Vo-tech.   In 1986, Margaret and I founded a local landscaping nusery, which provided me with great experience and a long list of happy customers. I have been in the landscaping business locally for 29 years.   I attended the University of Minnesota, Waseca for landscape Design.  After graduating, I went to Rochester Community Techincal College (when it was Vo-tech!) for Horticulture.   I met my husband in this business and raised a family in this business; this is truely a FAMILY business! My name is Megan Magee. I have been in the industry with my parents, since I can remember.   I graduated from Century High School and attended Minnesota State University, Mankato for two years.  I then transferred to Rochester Community and Technical College for Horticulture. I graduated in the spring of 2006, and was on the Dean’s List, along with being involved in the Horticulture Club. I was the treasurer of the club in 2005 and the president in 2006.   In March 2006 I passed the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) certification test.  I am now a certified professional.   I am currently running my own Garden Center on the south side of Rochester. It is located at the corner of Hwy 63 south and Hwy 30.  You can find me there all summer, looking forward to seeing you! My name is Travis Hinz. I have been in the industry with my parents, since I was old enough to hold a hose. I have been landscaping since I was 15 years old. I graduated from Century High School and attended Southeastern Technical College for Retail Sales Management.
